This Privacy Policy explains how BodyGauge ("the app", "we") handles information when you use the app. Because BodyGauge does not connect to the internet, there is very little to explain — and that is by design.
BodyGauge does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information, usage data, or device data. The height, weight, age, and gender values you optionally enter are used only to perform an on-device calculation and are stored temporarily in the app's memory for as long as the app is open. Nothing is saved to a server or shared with any third party.
BodyGauge requests zero device permissions. It does not access your internet connection, storage, contacts, location, camera, microphone, or any other device feature.
BodyGauge does not integrate any third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking software development kits. There are no external servers involved in the app's operation.
BodyGauge does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13, because it does not collect information at all.
Since no data leaves your device, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our end. Uninstalling the app removes any locally stored preferences (such as your theme setting) from your device.
BodyGauge provides body mass index estimates for informational purposes only. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional regarding your health.
If this Privacy Policy is ever updated, the revised version will be posted on this page along with an updated "Last updated" date.
